You are cordially invited to the MIASA Conference on "Ageing in Africa: Narratives, Human Rights, and Care” on 20-21 May, 2026, starting at 9:00 am, at the Auditorium of the Centre for Biodiversity Conservation Research, University of Ghana, and online. The conference is organized by MIASA’s Interdisciplinary Fellow Group on "Ageing in Africa: Narratives, Human Rights, and Care” (IFG 14).

The keynote will be given by Professor Isabella Aboderin (University of Bristol) on "Reflecting on Ageing Research in Africa: Reclaiming African Research on Ageing? Beginnings of a Reflexive Attempt to Clarify the Case“.

The conference is open to the public.
